This reputable client is a main contractor working on commercial projects that include bars, offices, hospitals, and retail stores. They have an excellent company culture and are now looking for a Site Manager for a 6 month contract in Bathurst, NSW.
The duties of this role will include:
- Project planning, job flow and overseeing OH&S project requirements.
- Setting out site.
- Dealing with key stakeholders that includes clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, project management team and local authorities.
- Work health and safety compliance.
- Ensuring project delivery in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all project controls are in line with the company standards.
Skills and requirements:
- Must be able to commit to 6 month minimum contract
- Must have construction demolition experience for initial stages of job
- 5 years’ experience in commercial construction – fit out + refurbishment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and management skills.
- Proven track record on relative fit out projects.
- Ability to motivate and get projects running to maximum efficiency.
- Willingness to work in a team and positively affect culture.
