About the role:
This critical leadership role is responsible for the safe delivery of the Mortlake Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project in regional Victoria. A new project that is key to Origin’s success in developing strategies that will support Origin on our continued path towards renewable energy. This is a 2 year contract.
 
Why this role matters?
-Lead the safe delivery through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover to Operations.
-Navigate regulatory, legal, community and government requirements.
-Broad stakeholder engagement including local communities, your team and beyond.
-Drive a focussed commercial perspective, including an outward focus, awareness of delivery cycle times, and professional completion of work products.
-Ensure site works complies with contracts and predetermined measures for success, providing feedback as required.
-Provide regular reporting for key stakeholders and to bring our team along with our vision.
 
What will you bring?
-Previous experience as a Site Project Manager in large civil or electrical projects, preferably BESS.
-High level of project contract management experience.
-An ability to share our Vision with our stakeholders and teams at all levels.
-Previous experience in building and managing a diverse team to success.
-Successful candidates will be required to participate in medical, reference and accreditation checks.
-Melbourne CBD based until mid June, then on site at Mortlake.
