As a result of exciting changes on site, we are pleased to announce that we are now seeking a Supervisor to commence on site immediately. This role is a chance for you to hit the ground running in a brand new position and create and support change within our teams.
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise, manage and coordinate our teams to perform preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, onsite servicing, projects, and turnarounds.
This role is based within the Cooper Basin, which is a remote and vast area that expereinces harsh weather conditions throughout majority of the year. Please keep this in mind when applying.
Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- As a key link to our client, this role is crucial to develop a collaborative culture between ourselves and our client.
- Provide and promote a safe working environment and culture by leading the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Effective team communication including daily pre-starts, offering support where required, and delivering safety information.
- Suggest and lead improvements in both GRPS and our clients’ processes and procedures.
- Support Maintenance General Manager and Maintenance Manager in achieving team KPIs.
About you:
- You should be a motiviated self starter who sets high standards for yourself and can effectively hold teams to the same standards.
- Ability to develop and build positive working relationships with both GRPS teams and our client.
- Experience previously working as a Supervisor on remote sites and efficeitnly managing multiple remote teams is desirable, but not essential.
- Highly proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Suite and Maintenaence Programs (SAP).
- Extensive knowledge in the Oil & Gas Sector, sound knowledge of leading a team and of Health and Safety regualtions.
