You will have (or be prepared to obtain) an NSW Working with Children’s Check and National Criminal History Check and have a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
Previous experience in Employment Services will be viewed favourably.
About the Role
As a Site Support Consultant based in either Moree you will be supporting Joblink Plus site in Moree and the Surrounding areas and be part of a dedicated team supporting people on their journey to gain sustainable employment or education.
You will travel to sites where required in order to assist with Site Support operations to ensure that all people we work with are receiving a high-quality service in line with Joblink Plus Purpose and Principles.
You will do this by successfully engaging with our participants to develop personal connections, build trust and provide ongoing support along with engaging and building rapport within the community and other services to further assist and create opportunities for the people we work with to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Responsibilities included but not limited to
- Assist to promote and achieve site placements and outcomes to reach committed levels of excellence.
- Develop and foster employer/industry relationships to establish placement opportunities and achieve client employment outcomes.
- Assist with recruitment activities associated with positions vacant lodgement, client referral, reverse marketing, placement and post placement support.
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of Joblink Plus systems and processes.
- Effectively work with jobseekers to achieve identified goals.
- Support and work with jobseekers to develop personalised plans, set long and short-term goals and identify and arrange specialised assistance as appropriate.
- Mentor, motivate and enable jobseekers to build on strengths, develop goals and set objectives to achieve these.
- Coordinate and monitor jobseeker participation in identified activities within the various programs to ensure assistance towards achieving identified goals.
