About the role

Location: Melbourne (hybrid flexible working - work from home 2 days per week)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a customer focused, self-motivated Business Account Manager to join our already successful Oreta sales engine. The Business Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to medium business customer accounts, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth.

The role will be based in Melbourne CBD and report to the GM Sales. 

Responsibilities

  • Managing an existing portfolio of small to medium size business customers
  • Identify & close new business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Building a sales pipeline through identifying and solving customer needs
  • Deliver sales outcomes across Oreta’s catalogue of business products and services
  • End to end responsibility of sales lifecycle to ensure successful achievement of agreed Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets
  • Work with internal stakeholders Advisory, Delivery, Security and Managed Services to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Build relationships with Oreta partners, vendors and sponsors to ensure effective outcomes for customers
  • Maintain customer relationships and own accountability for customer satisfaction
  • Prepare opportunity specific proposals, scope of works & presentations
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM
  • Willingness and ability to assist marketing requests on adhoc basis (eg blogs)
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise across other team members as required to meet customer / opportunity requirements
  • Assist with RFP and other sales documentation
  • Responding to all new and existing business enquires
  • Keeping up-to-date with current business technology trends
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understand and adhere to Oreta’s Procurement and Finance processes

Essential Criteria 

  • Full Working Rights in Australia (Permanent work rights)
  • Completed further education through either University or Tafe
  • Proven experience in sales (Minimum 2 years Australian sales experience)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with a CRM (ideally Connectwise)

Highly Desirable 

  • Experience working with a CRM and maintaining its data integrity
  • Experience working within IT Integrators and Managed Service Providers
  • Experience selling UC, Mobility, Cloud, Network, Security and Analytics
  • Experience selling across our vendor partners Telstra, Cisco, Microsoft, Google, VMware, Sentinel One, Checkpoint, Fortinet and Palo Alto
  • Experience working within IT Managed Service Providers
  • Demonstrated history of achieving sales targets
