AddressOur client have a portfolio of primary software-as-a-Service products. They are looking for an experienced and proven leader who can manage, lead and inspire out Software Development team. Working across multiple technology stacks and multiple product suites, you will lead a diverse team of development resources and will be responsible for the quality and timely development of all aspects of the development roadmap.
Job Duties:
- Provide oversight, tasking, day to day management and guidance to the Software Development team
- Provide leadership in the development process, continuous improvement in delivery process and product architecture
- Co-ordinate development resources across all product streams to ensure product roadmaps are met
- Coordinate the design, development, and install of enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software (release management).
- Review, analyse and enhance existing tech stack and application effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving existing systems and leveraging new technology where appropriate.
- Creates appropriate documentation for new functionality developed in the form of code review documentation, wiki articles or formal documents
- Work collaboratively with the Sales team to incorporate market needs into the product roadmaps
- Lead discussions on application architecture as well as overall product roadmap
- Helps maintain customer satisfaction by providing timely advice, as well as hot fixes, for bugs or issues identified by customers
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years progressive leadership experience as a Senior Developer, Tech Lead and then as a Software Development Manager
- Demonstrated experience with the .NET languages and frameworks (including Framework and Core) or Java language and frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with Single-Page Applications and web languages
- Knowledge of web-based front-end technologies including HTML5, Javascript and CSS]
- Knowledge of mobile app development with frames such as Ionic would be highly advantageous
- A high degree of understanding of SQL, in particular T-SQL is essential
- Experience in building and enhancing the Software Development Practice with Microsoft Cloud
- Project management experience specifically related to managing software product development projects and ensuring timely releases

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results
- Experience within highly regulated industries such as finance, telecommunications or health would be advantageous
