About the Opportunity
The Software Development Lead is a hybrid role, instrumental in leading the development of internally developed labour and production management software across the software design team, while actively contributing to its development. A core part of this role centers around leading the team to deliver projects to deadline and budget.
Your key responsibilities will included:
• Management of team of Software Developers including recruitment, orienting and training of employees
• Design, development and maintenance of in house desktop and web-based applications used to manage sales, production and logistics (FlavorSuite)
• Producing and articulating detailed specifications for feature improvements
• Manage projects to timeline and budget
• Identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities and ensure they are escalated as necessary
• Assist with the maintenance of and develop appropriate APIs
• Development of high level technical, user, and system architecture documentation to support business case
• Plan and execute software roadmap of Flavorites’ timekeeping system (FlavorFind).
• Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and assignment of bugs/issues with internally developed software
• Management of priority system in relation to bugs and fixes
To be successful you will have:
• Relevant Tertiary qualification or demonstrated practical experience
• Previous experience managing teams
• Experience in .NET C# computer programming
• Strong communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good organisation skills
