Role Overview: As a Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering our talented software engineering team towards new heights. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the development of high-performance trading algorithms and systems. The role is mostly hands-off, allowing you to leverage your leadership and architecture skills to guide a diverse team of engineers spread across the globe.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a globally distributed team of software engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap. Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and collaboration within the development team. Oversee the design and implementation of trading algorithms and systems in Python, C++, and Rust. Architecture and performance related inputs for Software Development Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing globally distributed software engineering teams. Strong background in Python, C++, and Rust programming languages. Deep understanding of algorithmic trading and market making in financial markets (ideally the crypto space), Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
