Solar Sales Consultant

We're looking for experienced and super-motivated Solar Sales Consultants to hit the ground running. While our head office is based in a modern office in Pinkenba, we’re after people who enjoy being on the road in their own car, meeting our customers in their homes. Depending on where you live, you will only need to come into the office once a fortnight.

About the Role

• Manage warm qualified leads provided to you. RACQ Solar receives over 1,000 inbound leads per month
• Provide professional advice and recommendations for systems and designs that are customer-specific
• Use a range of technology and computer software to design rooftop solar systems for customers, such as Open Solar
• Focus on creating an outstanding sales and installation experience for customers
• Grow and manage referral-based business

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Be a technically focused and sales-driven individual with at least 2 years of previous Solar Sales experience
• Be friendly and personable with a proven ability to sell face-to-face (but also over the phone if needed)
• Ideally be located around Northern NSW, Gold Coast, Ipswich, or Rockhampton. But if you’re located elsewhere and are a gun salesperson we’ll interview you either way.
• Have computer literacy skills to efficiently and accurately maintain project management systems
• Have a strong awareness of objection handling and sales closure techniques
• Be proactive, and hardworking, with excellent attention to detail
• Have a customer-service focus with good communication skills

You will provide an exceptional customer experience, have the ability to develop rapport and trust with your customers, and be motivated to achieve sales targets by helping our customers achieve their sustainability and economic objectives.

Applicants must have a current driver's licence and their own car. A travel allowance is provided. There may be a small number of events you are required to attend across the year and these may occasionally fall on a weekend.
