About the role
The Solar Technical Specialist - Electrician role is to provide specialist PV and Solar Hot Water electrical support to the Sydney Residential and Commercial Sales Team. As the overseer of install quality & training, you would be required to hold the license for all PV installs for Solahart Sydney. A normal week would be a couple days in our Rydalmere office and 3 days on the road. Your duties would be to:
- Review all new sales designs daily to ensure any install issues can be negated and manage required site assessments
- Carry out regular inspections with the contractor group to main quality standards and procedures, acting as Electrical Licence holder for Sydney
- Maintain contractor relationships and provide ongoing training and support for key product launches, contractor onboarding, troubleshooting discussions and install communication
- Provide Solahart direct feedback on product issues from the field as required
- Act in a manner conducive to good health and safety of him or her and general public
- Attend sites for servicing and warranty inspections
About you
We are looking for someone who is committed, motivated, energetic, and reliable. You will also have:
- Trade or Technical qualification in Electrical with current Electrical Licence and CEC Accreditation
- Experience within the Solar PV Industry with a broad history of installations
- Ability to oversee and facilitate training of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively on technical and commercial needs.
- Confident use of electronic communication/information devices.
