New restaurant opening in the Shire in April is looking for their Sous Chef. Working along side our amazing Head Chef, you'll help drive this 120 seater to success with an Italian menu in a beautiful setting.
We'd love for locals to apply, but if you're not a local you must be willing to travel. Gymea station is a short walk from the restaurant.
Unfortunately due to being a new restaurant, we can only talk about the opportunity to those with experience and who fit the description below.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu items.
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure quality and consistency.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper food storage.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance menu offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive and think of your feet in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Salary:
Is dependant on experience but will include very competitive tips and super.
Roster:
We will be open 7 days, and as such you will be working on a rotating roster.
