The opportunity
We have a great opportunity for highly skilled and talented Sous Chef - Pastry to join the multi award-winning Fairmont Resort & Spa, Blue Mountains. Our Kitchen team is dedicated to providing excellent service and creating memorable moments through edible creations.
If you are committed to creating delicious deserts and sweet treats to exceed the expectations of our guests - including high teas, special occasions, family treats and romantic moments - then we would love to speak to you…
About you:
- Excellent creative passion and skill
- Ensure a smooth service for their designated section
- Maintain excellent presentation standards
- Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair
- Liaise with Restaurant employees regarding the availability of menu items, daily specials and any relevant changes.
- Have working rights in Australia
To be successful within this position you will have a "can do" attitude, exceptional passion and skill, and hold relevant Commercial Cookery Qualification.
You will also have exceptional personal & presentation standards as well as previous experience in a similar position.
