Your Role

• Report to Executive Chef and work alongside another Sous Chef managing a brigade of 25 chefs
• Work in two exclusive restaurants: The Long Pavilion and Pebble Beach 
• Create outstanding plates of food delivering a unique and special experience for qualia guests
• Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, private functions and exclusive events & in room dining with a difference
• Fine Dining Modern Australian cuisine; a la carte, classics and degustation menus
• Uphold and breathe qualia's consistently excellent standards of service

About You

• Certificate III Commercial Cookery (essential)
• Drivers Licence (essential)
• Michelin star or hat experience advantageous
• Fine dining a la carte restaurant or hotel background essential
• Minimum 8 years of post-apprenticeship experience
• Demonstrated experience producing high end food in a senior position
• Proactive approach to keeping up to date with current trends
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude who thrives working in a team
• Not afraid of long hours and hard work required to achieve standards of excellence
