Responsibilities: 

• Develop and optimise floor plans at macro and micro level for new stores and relays
• Support category development and drive new merchandise initiatives
• Collaborate with merchandise teams to create & update planograms
• Support and advise both merchandise teams & suppliers on the development of new fixtures and implementation
• Manage the off-location program for promotional and supplier displays
• Drive the instore planning of the promotional event program 
• Coordinate the design, facilitation, and analysis of merchandise trials in stores
• Identify opportunities for driving attachment in store through a customer focused lens
• Provide reporting, analysis & merchandising insights to key business stakeholders
• Add value and support to merchandise category reviews
• Contribute to Merchandising and Retail Operational procedures
• Comply with core policy and standard operating procedures

Experience/ Qualifications: 

• 2 years demonstrated experience with space planning software (Spaceman and/or JDA floor planning application)
• Ability to quickly learn new programs, processes and effectively teach others
• Experience using MS Office, Power BI
• Customer focus
• Problem solving (conceptual thinking)
• Adaptability
• Demonstrated ability in Influencing others/communicating effectively
• Resilience
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications (desirable but not essential)
