Who we are
Gold Coast based and operated for over 30 years; we provide in home service support for major appliance manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics & LG Electronics to name just a few. We coordinate a busy, cohesive team of technicians who collectively cover the greater Gold Coast and Brisbane area.
The Video Factory has multiple vehicles on the road at any given time as well as workshop technicians, so the product we repair will vary from day to day.
Role responsibilities include:
- Providing a professional level of customer service to all customers in an efficient and courteous manner
- Responding to enquiries (face-to-face, phone and online) on services and repairs accurately and in line with established policies and procedures
- Greeting customers, taking their details, and making them feel welcome
- Managing the appointment bookings to ensure efficient use of the technician's time
- Preparing & managing repair jobs, filing, and providing administrative support to technicians and other team members
- Invoicing clients and third-party warranty suppliers
- Claiming for services and products
- Processing parts return for credit
- Ordering and receiving stock
- Warehouse control of parts and general housekeeping
- Liaising with technicians to submit and follow-up requests for updates on repair jobs
- provide quotes on repairs and accessories/parts
- Promoting services to prospective customers
- Handling quotes and approvals within in-house system
- Other add hock tasks as required
About you:
- Strong organisational and time management skill
- Clear verbal communication and excellent phone and interpersonal manner
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently in a high paced environment
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, and excellent attention to detail
- Taking initiative and problem-solving
- Ability to learn new software systems and products quickly
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- excellent data entry skills
