We are seeking a Spatial Information Officer. Operating from within the Spatial Products, you will be part of a diverse state-wide team providing specialist spatial support and technical advice for Queensland Government. You will deliver of a wide range of cartographic solutions in a contemporary work environment.

In this role you will:• Provide spatial and mapping support within agreed timeframes and specifications.• Enhance spatial solutions by reviewing existing workflows, products, deliverables and by supporting our culture that encourages innovation and growing capability.• Provide strategic spatial advice, direction and proactive education to enable an appreciation of geospatial practices in accordance with government initiatives and objectives.• Build, maintain, and nurture stakeholder partnerships considering current and expected future demand for services.• Maintain contemporary knowledge and understanding of geospatial trends and sound knowledge of client business requirements.
This position requires:• A university degree from a recognised tertiary institution or overseas qualification recognition as stated in the Mandatory Requirements section.• Good communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
