What you will be doing:
- Work on a Casual basis, where you will provide face to face teaching in your area of expertise, Wound Management, over 8 days to a cohort of Diploma of Nursing students.
- Connect face to face with students to train the cohort and deliver courses and content in your area of expertise - Wound Management.
- Mark assessments and assist students practical assessments.
- Work with a team of experienced educators, collaborating, sharing knowledge and skills in a cross-cultural environment delivering and assessing students enrolled in the Diploma of Nursing.
- Be able to share your knowledge and experience with the next generation of nurses.
As well as being friendly and passionate about education as we, are you will need the following to ensure your success in the role:
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelors/Masters in Nursing.
- Have experience in training and educating in the VET sector.
- We require a Registered Nurse with a minimum 5 years post graduate recent clinical experience specialising in Wound Management and preferably a post graduate qualification in Wound Management.
- A current certificate IV in Training and Assessment is an advantage but not a necessity.
- Be able to deliver customised training in your specialist area of practice.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training materials in accordance with Australian Skills Quality Authority requirements.
- Have great attention to detail when marking assessments and assisting with student practical assessments.
- You will be in a supportive environment with an excellent working culture and passionate team.
- You will be provided a minimum of 6 weeks booking notice of what dates you will be required. There will be multiple dates provided to you throughout the years of 2023 and 2024.
