About the Role
Merchant Pick & Pack (MPP) is the most common fulfillment option for grocery and retail orders, where the Merchant has their own in-store team pick and pack Uber Eats orders using Uber technology. The MPP Manager will play a key role in enhancing Uber Eats order fulfillment and quality by working closely with our Merchant partners; sharing best practices, identifying areas of improvement, deploying solutions, and providing support and training.
The Impact You'll Have
Help merchants embed Uber Eats within their in-store operations; equip merchants with the resources and support they need to Pick & Pack and ensure a good in-store and consumer experience
Analyse performance metrics and conduct store visits to understand current operations and processes, and identify opportunities for improvement
Understand and address root causes of unfulfillment, poor order quality or poor experiences
Surface insights regarding merchant pain points and product gaps to local and global teams, and collaborate to identify and implement solutions
Design and deliver programs in partnership with the Commercial team to support merchants in feature adoption, consumer experience improvements and operations management
The Experience You'll Bring
5+ years of relevant experience - prior exposure to Retail Operations a plus
Highly collaborative; you know how to engage work across different stakeholder groups to drive towards shared goals
Strong business acumen and problem-solving; you’re comfortable identifying and prioritising problems, coming up with creative solutions, and making informed recommendations
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
