What you’ll do
As the Strategy andEnablement Manager you will work closely with the Woolworths MarketPlus leadership team to drive the effective scaling, growth and maturity of the marketplace to help deliver against key strategic business goals. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Enablement, you will work closely with internal business leaders to define and prioritise strategic themes/ questions, conduct deep dives and operational diagnostics with internal teams, incorporate data (both quantitative and qualitative) from diverse sources, and develop sophisticated insights/recommendations/tactics to inform and drive change across the organisation.
In addition to this, you will:
- Define, develop and implement strategic plans and business capability projects.
- Support strategy planning / quarterly delivery cycle (QDC) process.
- Conducting competitor and market intelligence analysis.
- Support business development activities and strategic partnerships with key partners
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone who has an exceptional capability of simplifying & deconstructing the complex. With a bias for action, being highly principled and organised, someone who is both a strategist and a builder.
- 3+ years' of strategy experience gained in a consulting firm, investment banking / PE or corporate strategy environment.
- Excellent financial modelling skills gained from either building business cases, equity valuation models or conducting complex commercial due diligence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing Executive-level documents and presentations.
- Strong application of strategic toolkit and foresight to anticipate business needs, make short- and long-term trade-offs and balance dynamics within constraints.
- High levels of judgement and a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority, knowing where and when to advocate vigorously for a well-informed, data-driven position.
