The role & team
Specsavers have a friendly, supportive and high performing Transactional Services team. The Transactional Services team are part of the wider Finance Team of roughly seventy, who provide financial services and compliance support across our Head Office and Specsavers Stores.  

This role will report into the Store Accounts Payable Team Leader, and work within a team of ten Transactional Officers. As a Store Accounts Payable Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract, your primary responsibility will be to accurately process invoices and payments while also providing support to the broader Accounts Payable team to achieve all objectives.
 
The essential skills we are looking for

• Demonstrated expertise in a comparable Accounts Payable role 
• A collaborative team member with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in professional communication with stakeholders throughout the organisation 
• Proactive and adept at problem solving 
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel; exposure to Basware and Concur is advantageous but not essential
