Well-known State Govt seeking Structural Engineer in supporting the assessment of Heavy Vehicle Applications

This well-known State Government Organisation is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to assist with the Operation Access team with understanding of Structural engineering load assessments to support a range of tasks related to the analysis and assessment of bridges and other road related structures, including undertaking inspections to determine the condition of bridges and other road related structures.

Your new role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the following below:

• Communicate with key stakeholders to gather required information, inform and update activities in a consultative manner.
• Demonstrate competence in understanding of structural load assessments to support a range of tasks related to the analysis and assessment of bridges and other road related structures under supervision.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects, as required, that would result in efficiencies in relation to Class 1,2,3 and other heavy vehicle assessment practices.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will need to have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with an understanding of the process of structural load assessments and competent understanding of structural inspections.
