AddressStockwell Design and Construction is seeking a committed, self-motivated Structures Supervisor to lead the structural process and trades to deliver a successful build for Stockwell.

Stockwell has a rich history of construction and development spanning over 72 years.
Stockwell Design and Construction has a pipeline of work in residential, commercial, retail and leisure projects throughout Queensland. This workload is already planned and not dependent upon tendering.
About the role:
The project is a new commercial development between the Boggo Road Gaol and the EcoScience Building as the newest Retail Centre to add to the Stockwell portfolio. Being in an historical setting, care for external constraints is a must.
This development comprises a lower basement, suspended ground slab, level one slab, and steel roof, with retail/commercial over two levels. With sensitive neighbours, this project will test your management skill set, but open up further possibilities within the Stockwell pipeline of projects for the right candidate.
The role of the Structures Supervisor requires:
- Working as part of the Stockwell Project Team to achieve the standard of quality for our customers and as required by relevant codes and guidelines.
- Managing the structural trade teams in co-ordination with the services trades.
- Ensuring the project is delivered in accordance with statutory approvals, PPR and end Tenants and customers.
- Ensuring that processes and procedures are implemented to deliver the concrete structure and external works.
- Planning and leading trades to deliver the structure per the program.
- Reporting progress to the Site Manager.
- Liaising with Safety Supervisors to achieve a safe site.
Management of concrete frame building over several working areas simultaneously to push the program as required. Your control for all structural framing and slabs will make this signature retail/commercial project a success.
Candidates should have experience working with formwork, reinforcement, blockwork, and concrete teams to complete the structural package for finishes trades. Your success will be ours too.
