- Full-Time Contract Role to start March 2023, Until Mid November 2023
- TCSA Salaried Award, Clerk Grade 2, Annual Package $80,083 (includes base $71,926 + superannuation + annual leave loading)
- This is a contract role starting from March 2023. You will work full time hours until November 2023. After the contract concludes in November, there will be a possibility of extension in the same position, or a similar opportunity available.
About the Role…
The successful individual will support the Taronga Training Institute (TTI) Manger by coordinating activities relating to the management of TTI students. This role will provide quality course administration, student management and staff support and contribute to the continuous improvement of TTI as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Key Accountabilities…
- Coordinate student enrolments at all TTI delivery sites.
- Support the Taronga Western Plains Zoo and interstate Support Officers to ensure the successful finalisation of students at all TTI delivery sites within a timely manner after course completion.
- Coordinate the activities of TTI Support Officers at each delivery site to ensure consistency of end-to-end processes relating to student management.
- Manage the release, analysis and reporting of student survey results across all courses and all TTI delivery sites to support continuous improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Sydney’s current and prospective Certificate III in Wildlife and Exhibited Animal Care students in line with Taronga’s Customer Service Charter including acting as a point of liaison between students and other members of the TTI team including Trainers & Assessors as required.
- Provide ongoing assistance to TTI trainers and assessors including preparation, planning and adjustments of course materials in response to identified learner requirements.
- Undertake the full range of administrative support services, including records management, financial transactions, routine correspondence, meeting and event support, and creating, compiling and distributing documents to assist with the efficient operation of TTI, whilst ensuring relevant RTO standards are met.
- Provide support to the Manager TTI and undertake special projects as required.
We are looking for candidates that have / are willing to:
- Demonstrated experience in student management and support.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support.
- Demonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- A paid NSW Working with Children Check
