Wesley Training is a National RTO delivering quality training solutions to both students, jobseekers and industry Australia-wide. Wesley specialise in Medical Administration, Allied Health, and Medical Terminology Training.
This role is a rewarding opportunity to engage with job seekers, mature-aged students wanting to up-skill as well as employment providers; to connect people to quality learning and employment outcomes.
You will play an important role in building connections and closing students enquiries that allow our training and mentoring team to hit the ground running with all that Wesley has to offer. You will love people contact, work from empathy and consultancy to help others.
We envisage the role to be Monday Tuesday and Thursday 8.30 - 2.30 pm.
Duties include:- Liaising with students on the range of Wesley programs including new student enquiries and upgrading students to further study pathways - engagement and empathy a must!
- The promotion and sign-up of new learners into a range of training programs options (traineeships, self-paced learning, funding programs, classroom training)
- Following up and closing sales opportunities proactively, working to KPIs
- Understanding the various state funding opportunities, promoting, consulting and explaining the opportunities to students
- Working with industry to provide trained solutions or traineeships
- Working with a variety of enquiry streams, from social media, emails, phone consulting and marketing campaigns
- Understand and promote Government funded programs and learn to love the paperwork and processes (full training given)!
- Work with the marketing department to develop sales promotions
Ideally, you’ve worked in the vocational education sector before, or the health industry - but if you can demonstrate a genuine passion for working in this sector, we want to hear from you. You must have previous experience in a sales or customer service-type role and have the ability to build relationships with ease and the motivation to work independently.

- Be very computer literate, having the ability to work quickly with emails, databases, CRMs, social medical, and templates. Good keyboarding skills and computing skills essential.

- Excited to work closely with our community members as both part of a team, and independently
- Be trusted to spend your days out, signing up learners and building program networks and industry connections
- Assisting the enrolments and mentoring team as required
- Working from home on some days is an option after training!
