Superannuation Risk Specialist

A federal government agency in located in Sydney CBD are seeking an investment Risk Specialist on an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend. This exciting opportunity offers hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities:

• Reviewing the investment policies and practices of regulated (mainly

superannuation) entities * Identifying and assessing investment and liquidity risks

• Supporting and advising supervision teams and Investment Risk colleagues
• Identifying current and emerging risks affecting industry and contributing to

thematic reviews of these risks * Providing ad hoc advice on investment and liquidity issues to a range of
stakeholders across the department
What you will need:

• General experience in investment risk, preferably across investment management, asset consulting or related fields
• Experience in unlisted asset research, selection, valuation, audit and implementation
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly analytical
• Good time management skills
• Must be an Australian Citizen to work within Federal Government
