Roster: 8D/6R FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance, the supervisor role will oversee Resource Definition related electrical tasks at the Queens Hydraulic Barrier wall Project, provide support to our service providers on various sites and steer out decarbonisation journey, from an electrical perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the QHBW management teams on scheduled works Providing leadership and support to a diverse team of trade personnel
- Manage and plan daily work tasks, electrical maintenance / fault finding and provide supervision with regular communication to all electrical employees and contractors under your control
- Responsibility of electrical compliance within the fixed plant, Mobile plant and amenities
- recording the Statutory testing required for RCD and E-STOP circuits and Mine Log Book Entries
- be involved in the creation/review of SWMS and JHAs relevant to the task
- Ensuring Person under your control is competent and qualified for the task and that Competent Person is accompanied by another who is LV Rescue trained when doing any testing
- Commissioning new plant and equipment as required
- Driving safe systems of work with a strong a positive team safety culture
- Set clear expectations and standards for team members to meet organisations objectives and achieve a positive workplace culture
- Work closely with OEM vendors and Contractors with decarbonisation journey
- Western Australia Electrical Licence
- In-House License Nominee experience
- HV Switching qualifications with previous experience
- Experience with PLC controls and automated systems
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance as well as WA electrical standards, regulations and legislation
- Previous leadership experience within a processing plant
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP desirable
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills

- Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
- Competent in reading technical manuals/plans/schematics
