HV Electrical Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance
Roster: 7D7N:14R FIFO ex Perth
Fortescue's Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 90 kilometres west of Tom Price. With Solomon mine, Eliwana forms Fortescue's Western Hub providing a standalone and complimentary product with Fortescue's Chichester Hub.
We are seeking applications from motivated and experienced HV Electrical Supervisor to join our Eliwana maintenance team. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the maintenance team in order to ensure availability and reliability of the various Electric fleet in Fortescue's fleet portfolio.
Specifically, this will include the planning, organising, supervision and control of the maintenance technicians ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Nominee for Mobile Maintenance
- Appointed statutory and Electrical supervisor.
- Accountable for the safe, reliable, and efficient operational performance and maintenance of mobile maintenance assets / workshop and infield duties included.
- Supervision, direction and training of the High Voltage team members and contractors.
- Commitment to encourage and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement practices.
- Work with the planning team to ensure all maintenance activities are resourced appropriately and scheduled in accordance with the embedded maintenance strategies and operational requirements.
- Proficient with SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification.
- Provide operational and maintenance support to the Energy Operations department as required - future state.
- Contribute to the development of plans, procedures, work instructions and technical documents
- Ensure all activities undertaken are conducted in accordance with company safety policy and procedures.
- Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certification - Electrical Workers License
- High Voltage Switching certificate and relevant switching experience
- Absolute commitment to safety
- Experience with all aspects of HV distribution and transmission systems.
- Supervising experience within a HV distribution/ transmission team is desirable.
- Flexibility in operation and ability to lead a team
- Organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Self-motivated individual with written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP
