ABOUT THIS COMPANY
A growing business, this ISO accredited company manufactures and supplies a wide range of high-quality engineered industrial products to a variety of industries for use in the industrial, infrastructure and domestic markets. With an ever-expanding footprint through a recent acquisition, they have identified the need to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Manager to their team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this newly created position, you will oversee all aspects of the Supply Chain encompassing developing and leading S&OP, demand planning & inventory management as well as driving process development throughout the business. This is a hands-on role that will require equal parts of analytical skills and communication/engagement to deliver the right results.
Specifics of the role include but are not limited to.
• Lead the S&OP Process by collaborating with key teams to forecast demand
• Analyse Supply Chain Data and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop and Execute Supply and Production Plans to meet customer demand, inventory targets, and financial goals
• Review and Develop Reports and deliver insights to track and improve performance.
• Manage the Supply Chain Team, develop talent and provide direction and support to ensure that the team meets targets and goals
• Manage Inventory, lead times, replenishments, and minimum/maximum stock levels
• Become the Supply Chain SME with the new MRP system (MS Dynamics – Business Central) to be rolled out mid-year
SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE
To be considered for this role, it is expected that you will ideally bring tertiary education within Supply Chain, business, or finance to support your experience and have worked extensively within the field. This will ideally have been in a manufacturing environment utilising an integrated MRP system (MS Dynamics Business Central preferred). You will have been in a leadership position, having managed staff and be able to work across the entire spectrum of the business (from order to cash) including procurement and strategic change management when required.
