Form of workCorin Australia is seeking a motivated recent graduate to join our team ofSurgical Planning Engineersbased in Pymble, Sydney. In this role you are responsible for the analysis, interpretation, segmentation, design and development of patient specific reports and guides for orthopaedic surgeons. This exciting opportunity provides in-depth exposure to the medical device industry and places you on the forefront of innovative technologies that benefit patient outcomes.
To be successful you will need:
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in engineering, health care or other scientific discipline
- Exceptional attention to detail and a process driven approach to work
- Enjoy working as part of a team with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals within and across teams to facilitate process changes
- Ability to adapt to change efficiently and prioritize your workload to meet strict production deadlines
- Exceptional computer literacy is a must, including strong knowledge and experience within the Microsoft Office suite of applications
It would be highly regarded to have:
- A strong understanding of Pelvis and Femur anatomy, although full training will be provided
- Familiarity with the Total Hip Arthroplasty
- Experience within customer service, corporate or office setting
- An understanding of 3D geometry mathematics and/ or experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and segmentation (Simpleware ScanIP) software
