The Role: We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our Federal Department client. This role is crucial for upgrading their existing Data Management platforms and ensuring their ongoing security posture aligns with ISO27001, ISM, and DSPF standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and maintain Linux Operating Systems across various application platforms.
- Efficiently redeploy containerized applications and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
- Implement robust security hardening measures for applications, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough reviews of privileged access across all systems and code repositories.
- Evaluate Cybersecurity assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Adhere to and contribute to Change Management and Cybersecurity processes.
- Deploy Linux servers via Virtual Environments.
- Demonstrate extensive Linux administration skills.
- Apply Linux server hardening and firewall configuration expertise.
- Manage containerized application environments such as Docker.
- Deploy environments via CI/CD tools.
- Bring advanced Web Application configuration experience.
- Show familiarization with project and repository permissions on code repositories.
- Have familiarization or experience with DevOps tools and processes.
