Our client, a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to improving safety, advancing future vehicles, and revolutionising modes of transport in Australia, is in search of a Systems Engineer with Public Cloud experience to help with ongoing BAU and Project work.
About the role
As a Systems Engineer, you will roll up your sleeves and get into the nitty-gritty of managing and optimising the cloud infrastructure. You will use your technical skills in Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Office 365 to play a pivotal role in their organisation.

- Drive cloud initiatives leveraging your years of Public Cloud knowledge and experience
- Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to implement security solutions and make necessary changes, contributing to a robust security posture.
- Be the go-to expert for L2 and L3 support, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of technical issues
- Engage in hands-on stakeholder management, attend meetings, and work directly with external vendors.
- Provide hands-on technical analysis and advice on new IT projects and initiatives, guiding the organisation toward success.
- 3 month contract with likely extensions
- Extensive experience with Public Cloud environments (Azure), Intune, and Office 365
- Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, working with Networking and Windows Server technologies to effectively and logically troubleshoot and isolate issues with AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, and Office 365
- Familiarity with DevOps or DevSecOps principles is highly desirable but not required
- Proven experience in Stakeholder and Vendor management
