About the opportunityThe Systems Administrator, Identity and Access Management provides technical support for the day to day operations of the Identity and Access Management Services to enable the University to provide seamless and secure access to systems.This technical support role covers security, maintenance and expert system administration to ensure the efficiency of ICT infrastructure software including identity management, directory services and provided SaaS solutions. The role contributes to the development and ongoing enhancement of systems through systems documentation and provides expert technical advice with a customer service focus.Your key responsibilities will be to:

• liaise with stakeholders to understand requirements, risks and set priorities and own resolution of incidents, service requests and problems
• understand client expectations and deliver outcomes to agreed targets and timeframes
• support and maintain the University's Identity and Access Management software solutions, via software life cycles, adherence to ITIL-based operational support and delivery processes to provide high availability and usability of university systems
• perform the implementation of operating environments and activities related to the technical plan for the work area, ensuring effective conversion of design into operating processes
• develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure application environments ore maintained, current, patched, available and secure.

About you

• experience in undertaking installation and decommissioning activities, including supervision of external parties providing services
• demonstrated ability to contribute to building capability within the ICT technical stream ensuring effective knowledge sharing and coaching
• demonstrated experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support
• strong technical proficiency in administration of Identity and Access Management software and lifecycle management
• demonstrated experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support.
