Systems Engineer - Technician Level 3

You will be responsible for the following:

• Key resource for resolving complex helpdesk escalations.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain company and client technology solutions including networks, servers, and cloud. 
• Lead and execute complex specialist projects, including deployment of networks and servers.
• Proactively audit, monitor, and improve company and client security.
• Mentor a team of technicians. 

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

• A passion for IT, personal and professional development, and a shared passion for community.
• 5+ years’ experience in a Systems Engineer equivalent role in MSP environment.
• Experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft solutions – Windows Server, Azure, Office 365 and Defender ATP
• Strong networking skills – switches, routing VLAN and WiFi.
• Strong security skills – firewall, application control and essential 8 related controls.
• Strong mentoring and team collaboration skills – written processes and procedures, documentation, time management and respectful communication.
• Strong customer focus, work ethic, integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and scenario analysis skills.
• A current valid driver’s licence.
• The ability to hold all relevant security clearances including Working with Children Check.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Willing to relocate to Port Macquarie and work in office. 

Experience in the following technologies would be advantageous:

• Azure AD
• Azure Cloud Migration
• 365 Modern Workplace (including Intune, Autopilot, Teams, Sharepoint, Defender/ATP)
• 365 user administration
• Exchange Online
• Hyper-V and/or VMware
• RDS and Published Apps
• Scripting/automation/Powershell
• Experience Firewall Products
