As our Enterprise IT Systems Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership to the Enterprise IT Support team and drive best practice implementation of Enterprise IT systems. To be successful in this role you will possess:
A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Systems Administration, Systems Engineer or similar role, and with a strong desire to provide service to the customer beyond their expectations.
A broad and demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft technologies, preferably in Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring other technical team members.
Our Enterprise IT Systems Engineer plays a key role providing technical leadership to our IT Support Team. Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking project and technical escalation tasks as a key part of the Enterprise IT team.
Keeping up to date with the latest products, services and emerging technologies within the Enterprise IT space.
Identifying and implementing business systems and processes to improve efficiency of the team and increase the reliability, performance and functionality of customer solutions.
Engaging with the other ABB technical and operational teams where required to ensure a world-class customer experience.
Acting as an escalation and mentoring point for Enterprise IT Support and other teams as required.
Assisting with defining, prioritising, coordinating and executing ABB Enterprise IT projects and ensure they are completed in a timely manner, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, security, Windows Servers, high availability and disaster recovery.
Work alongside the Enterprise IT leadership to implement vendor relationships and best practice systems and tooling.
Maintaining high levels of technical competency through continued learning and application of relevant research, training, self-study, and certifications.
