We are seeking a talented Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team and lead our recruitment efforts. Michael Hill Group is a market leading, premium jewellery company operating multiple brands and networks of retail stores across Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
The Talent Acquisition Manager takes charge of Talent Acquisition operations overseeing a team to establish and maintain consistent, effective, and best practice hiring systems. Additionally, the role involves the delivery and ongoing management of Employer Value Proposition, Social and Employer Branding initiatives, as well as implementing continuous improvement solutions for Talent Acquisition across the Group.
Our Talent Acquisition Manager plays a crucial role in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent to support the organisation's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the Talent Acquisition team
- Developing and executing strategic sourcing plans and strategies to attract top talent
- Leveraging recruitment software and platforms to streamline the hiring process, track candidate progress, and analyse recruitment data
- Providing insights from talent data and systems to guide decisions and inform stakeholders on talent objectives and outcomes
- Overseeing end-to-end recruitment, including senior roles and seasonal hiring
- Creating a positive and engaging experience for candidates
- Driving EVP, employer brand and social strategies
- Vendor and stakeholder management
- Championing continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven leadership in high-performance Talent Acquisition teams
- The ability to think strategically and develop long-term recruitment plans
- Strong communication skills essential for effectively engaging with candidates and building relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders
- The ability to think creatively and find solutions to talent challenges
- Proficiency in leveraging technology to streamline and enhance the recruitment process
- Experience in driving talent-related change initiatives
- Strong process and system mindset
- Strong grasp of employment brand management and direct sourcing techniques
- Ability to travel locally and internationally
- Experience working in retail or consumer facing industries
- SHL accreditation preferred
