OceanaGold is seeking a professional and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to join our People & Culture Team. Reporting to the Group Manager – Leadership & Talent, you will develop and execute the Talent Acquisition strategy for the organisation. This will involve business partnering with key stakeholders across our international operations to coordinate strategies for internal and external talent sourcing. The emphasis is on pro-active candidate attraction and effective onboarding in line with business operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilities include.
- Working closely with People & Culture leaders to develop an effective Talent Acquisition strategy & Employee Value Proposition.
- Owning the recruitment and onboarding modules within the ATS (Smart Recruiters) to enhance candidate & hiring manager experience.
- Establishing Service Level Agreements for the Talent Acquisition team to reduce “time to hire”.
- Report on recruitment performance & labour market trends to contribute towards Workforce Planning.
- Advocating global mobility & diversity of talent across OceanaGold operations.
- Develop and implement consistent, high-quality sourcing, selection, and strategic onboarding processes that can be used across all OceanaGold mine sites.
- Harness creative and innovative recruiting techniques to source qualified mining professionals and a diverse talent pool.
- Recruitment of senior level vacancies based in the Brisbane & Vancouver corporate offices.
- Management responsibility for a Brisbane based Business Partner – Talent Acquisition, whilst also providing coaching and support to the site-based teams, to ensure consistently high recruitment standards are maintained across the business.
