Talent Acquisition Partner - Rolling Stock, OCE & Corporate Affairs
The Position:
You will partner with our business leaders as part of the People team and will be responsible for sourcing and engaging top talent for our current/projected recruitment needs within the rolling stock division of Metro Trains Melbourne. We are passionate about cultivating a pipeline of best-in-class talent, so you will be using your flair for adding value and building relations to ensure that rolling stock has the best team “on-board” for our exciting work ahead.
A Snapshot of Responsibilities:
- End-to-end recruitment process, from understanding their workforce planning needs and designing sourcing strategy, through to the offer of employment.
- Canvas the market using a variety of innovative sourcing strategies and tools, including Linked In Recruiter, Seek and passive searches.
- Be active in creating, drafting, and posting job advertisements across the business.
- Systems experience with SAP is essential, either Page Up, Success Factors or another in house model.
- Build connections with stakeholders to create candidate shortlists that meet the agreed campaign brief, future needs of the business, and Metro diversity aspirations.
- Coach, guide and educate hiring managers to demonstrate best practices through the recruitment and selection lifecycle and ensure compliance with Metro processes and practices.
- Maintain candidate relationships to create an impeccable Metro journey from application through to their onboarding.
