The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our friendly team in our South Melbourne Office (opposite the gorgeous Albert Park Lake). We are a flexible employer, offering hybrid work arrangements, encouraging a healthy work life balance! 

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Partner will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments within our telecommunications company. This individual will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs. The successful candidate will ideally have experience recruiting for a diverse range of roles including Marketing, IT & Sales. 

  1. Sourcing and Recruitment: Utilize multiple channels to source and attract qualified candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals. Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability and alignment with company culture.
  2. Candidate Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating assessments, and providing timely updates to candidates. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  3. Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies for each role.
  4. Talent Pipeline Development: Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for key positions within the organization. Foster relationships with potential candidates and establish a strong employer brand in the telecommunications industry.
  5. Data Analysis: Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Compliance: Prepare contract and conduct pre-employment screening. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting for a diverse range of roles, including but not limited to technical, sales, marketing, and operations positions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), MS Office Suite, and other recruitment tools/software.
