Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a newly created role for Tomorrow Man + Tomorrow Woman with a very specific purpose. That is, to build the talent pipeline for the role central to our organisation - ‘the Facilitator’ and what we've learned in seven years is that these people are Unicorns! As we experience growth or turnover, finding the right person to fill this role can be tricky and time consuming, but our workshops still need to be delivered and that creates a challenge. So, our goal is to build and engage a pool of potential facilitators for Tomorrow Man + Tomorrow Woman in both Melbourne and Sydney, so that when the time comes we can rapidly fill the gaps, ideally without needing to go to market. Outside of this core focus, there’s still plenty of opportunity. We see this role leading attraction and recruitment activities for the business as well as reviewing our current approach and processes.

Working closely with the Head of People the role will have defined targets around the development of the pipeline. Initially it’s a six month contract and depending on the success of the role there is the possibility for that to be extended.

IDEALLY YOU HAVE

  • At least 3 years previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Sourcing Specialist, Resourcer or Candidate Manager within an agency, in-house, or an on-site RPO
  • An established network in the eduction sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in relative discipline
  • Strong experience in market mapping, direct approaches and talent pipelining
  • Understanding and experience in developing and implementing successful sourcing strategies, managing and utilising multiple channels and research methods to deliver recruitment outcomes for challenging roles

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

You have ’nose for talent’ & are a natural born killer (we mean networker)!!

You know where to find great people and have perfected the art of engaging people when they’re not necessarily looking for a job. And like a hound, once you have the scent, you’re guaranteed to find your target. You are an absolute boss when it comes to the world of networking. You’re native to a masterfully crafted phone call, LinkedIn, Zoom & Teams, and the many cafes of Melbourne / Sydney - it’s where you do your best work.

You are a great listener & communicator

You are an astute listener and particularly good at making people feel heard. You communicate clearly and have a knack for asking the right questions. You’re great at getting to the heart of what people want in their career.

You’re so organised, it’s embarrassing

You're a geek for a little admin and you get a buzz out of making sure the systems and processes are slick and firing efficiently.

You’re a people-person and you love building meaningful relationships

You love being in a dynamic and fun environment. You are self-motivated and driven and are confident working autonomously along with collaborating with a team. You have a knack for gaining people's respect and rapport quickly.

You are a problem solver and a upstream, systems-level thinker

You find new and efficient ways to streamline processes and create innovative approaches to complex problems.

You are a hard & dedicated worker and have team spirit

You thrive in fast-paced environments with people that are constantly looking to innovate, enjoy challenges, and demand excellence. You thrive on new opportunities and aren't afraid to “get your hands dirty".

You are passionate about your work and what it means

You have integrity, persistence, patience, and a genuine desire to empower and better the professional lives of those you work alongside. You take ownership of the role and want to grow it to its full potential. You’re invested in truly making a difference.

ABOUT US

We are a learning & development social enterprise that works in schools, sports clubs and communities around the country (and in some cases, the world) supporting teams and individuals to grow their emotional muscle - or basically, just to be badass humans!

Utilising elite group facilitation and through engaging, relevant and directly applicable interventions and content, we empower participants with diverse backgrounds to create change for themselves and the people around them. Our cutting edge, interactive ‘training grounds’ build genuine emotional muscle and agility, using an unmatched facilitation style focused on human to human connection to simulate real-life scenarios and build skills that are translated directly into the workplace and life.

Our mission is to create environments for men & women, young and otherwise, from all walks of life to challenge what it is to be a man or a woman in today’s world. We seek out and embody an aspirational and modern alternative to an archaic stereotype, to push back on expectations and pressure, and create a more flexible version of tomorrow's man/woman that resonates and speaks to the mainstream, while giving participants the tools to decide on the person they want to be for Tomorrow.
