We are looking for a mid-level recruiter to jump in for a 9-10 months parental leave contract and look after a variety of roles across our Australia business. If you’re passionate about creating a great candidate, employee, and overall human experience read on ;)
Requirements
What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?
- End to end recruitment, including sourcing, CV screening and interview scheduling through to reference checks and offers for primarily Australian market but with exposure to global as well
- Continual and proactive LinkedIn Recruiter talent searches and pipelining to support our planned growth
- Recruitment process optimisation; including hiring manager training, organisation of internal resources and the ATS for more accurate tracking, reporting and measurement
- Manage the internal stakeholders in Talent Acquisition partnerships
- Create an exceptional experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process
- Assist the fortnightly onboarding and induction sessions face to face and virtually for new hires, including surprise & delight logistics
- Potential to be involved in ad hoc Talent & Culture related projects (ie. Internships, EVP, LMS content, Employee LIfecycle Programs)
Ideal background…
To be considered for this role you must have 3+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably end to end recruitment across a broad range of roles in-house, and in a start-up or very fast-paced environment. More than anything you must be an ambassador of the Koala kulture - this means you embody our values of being ambitious, curious and selfless. You’re humble yet driven, not afraid to get your hands dirty and you genuinely care about people and our planet.
- Solid experience with an ATS (Workable), LinkedIn Recruiter and GSuite required
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused and flexible work style with high attention to detail
- Work calmly under pressure whilst being adaptable to pivot priorities on short notice
- Did we mention that empathy is a must have? Our candidates are no different to our customers and are at the heart of the business and an empathetic approach is a must at every touchpoint
- You love people and thrive on supporting them
- Possess a continuous improvement mindset, where you can contribute your previous experience to do things better for Koala & for our candidates
