The Role
We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our diverse, dynamic and innovative team in this fulltime permanent position.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist, within the People & Culture team, is responsible for delivering exceptional high quality recruitment services across the School. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with People & Culture Partners and Campus Hiring Managers to align with Caulfield Grammar School's Vision and Purpose. The role will manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle whilst ensuring exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Working within the P&C team, the role as may also provide support across P&C projects and initiatives where required.
Key Duties
Partner with Hiring Managers in delivering end to end recruitment assignments as per Recruitment Policy and Procedures
Develop and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies and campaigns, using various channels and platforms, to attract and engage diverse and high-quality talent.
Ensure effective attraction, recruitment and selection strategies to best support objectives and attract talent in a competitive market
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers and candidates
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and providers where required
Participate and contribute to P&C initiatives through involvement in problem solving and creative innovative solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Talent Acquisition function, by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Assist with effective and efficient On-boarding processes and induction, where required
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment, staffing strategies and offer negotiation
Experience in supporting a range of generalist People & Culture functions providing subject matter expertise, coaching and advice
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in using recruitment and HRIS systems
Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
