The Organisation
Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium. In addition, AVM is the proud presenting partner of concerts and functions at The Drive.
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an HR professional in the role of Talent Coordinator.
Reporting to the People Manager, and working as part of a close-knit, high-performing People Team, the position requires a driven and engaging individual to work proactively, with a relative degree of autonomy, in coordinating / delivering:
- AVM’s recruitment – advertising, entry-level selection processes, venue inductions; including systems administration of the AVM careers site.
- A quality advisory and support service to all AVM employees, under the tutelage of other senior department members.
- Accurate information stored within the various Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) – including AVM’ Learning Management System (LMS) and Rostering / Time & Attendance systems.
- AVM’s Work Experience / Industry Placement / CSR / Diversity & Inclusion employment programs - in collaboration with the People Manager.
About You
- This position will be the next logical step in your career, having already competently performed a range of activities similar to those listed above, at or immediately beyond entry-level.
- You will have plenty of initiative, a proactive ‘can do’ attitude and be flexible, innovative and solutions-focused in your approach to your work.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, unwavering attention to detail and demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them.
- An ability to confidently communicate and professionally interact with people from a diverse range of cultural, social and educational backgrounds – particularly important to confidently deliver face to face induction sessions to large numbers of new staff.
- A broad exposure to maintaining accurate online and in-house HRIS data.
- You’ve already successfully ‘dipped your toes’ in the waters of People & Culture related roles and/or studies and are now at that stage where you are ready a to learn more.
