This position is part of the Talent and Retention team, which sits within the People, Culture and Engagement branch (HR). About the position
This position is pivotal in the design, delivery and the continuous improvement of Council's recruitment strategic direction.
The successful candidate will be working extensively with stakeholders across the organisation while leading a recruitment team to work towards promoting Council as an employer of choice.
The salary range for this position is $91,002.71 - 97,075.32 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
This is a permanent full time position based in the heart of the Toowoomba CBD.
CBD Parking provided.

You will
Supervise, develop, motivate and support a team of Recruitment Officers to meet agreed performance standards in an evolving recruitment environment.
Undertake and coordinate recruitment services across Council, including educating various stakeholders on recruitment activities and practices.
Oversee the review of position descriptions and classification levels in accordance with relevant industrial instruments to ensure consistency with Queensland Local Government standards.
Review, evaluate and provide feedback on the use of technological solutions to deliver Talent and Attraction services within an online/electronic environment.
Provide advice on, and contribute to the development of, policies and procedures related to the attraction and recruitment of employees within Council.
Provide expert advice to employees and other stakeholders in relation to Talent and Recruitment services, particularly in complex cases.
Develop and provide innovative marketing strategies to promote Council’s employer brand as an employer of choice.
Use marketing tools and experience to identify and analyse trends, limitations and successes in the current marketing of Council roles.
