I.AM Amplified is our bank-wide Non-Financial Risk Transformation Program, is creating a consistent, enterprise-wide Non-Financial Risk Framework enables ANZ to deliver on the Bank we’re Building by understanding and managing our Non-Financial Risk efficiently and effectively.

Implementation by Divisions commenced in October 2022 and is running progressively through a series of 5 implementation releases to 2025. We are now up to Release 4 (March to Oct 2024) followed by another Release 5 (September 2024 to June 2025)

The Talent and Culture (T&C) Amplified Program Manager is critical to making this happen and will drive an uplift in our risk management framework and risk culture.

The role is to support the T&C Amplified Program Lead and team in managing the I.AM adoption and implementation for T&C.

Role Location: Level 5B, 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Role Type: Fixed Term Contract till June 2025 (18 Month), Full-time

What will your day look like


As a Talent & Culture Amplified Risk Manager, you will be accountable for:

Risk Theme Adoption

  • Support T&C Adoption Lead and Risk Theme Leads on delivering the adoption programs in a timely manner. The adoption includes deliverables on change management, transformation and remediation of gaps and issues.
  • Manage and track the remediation and treatment plans of each risk theme to ensure timely resolution
  • Facilitate the implementation of the Playbooks on the T&C Risk Theme Readiness, Hyper-care and BAU readiness.
  • Support on the risk theme readiness for People Risk which includes:
    • Validating the completeness of the obligation and policies across 33 countries to ensure compliance with local regulations
    • Updating stakeholders on key milestones, deliverable risks and program status
    • Managing the roll-out of the program deliverables to 33 countries in combination with change and communication plans

Program Management

  • Support and facilitate T&C, I.AM Program adoption, implementation and delivery in line with financial forecasts and expected resource profile
  • Support T&C Amplified Program Lead on risk, compliance and governance and oversight of the program ensuring that milestones and commitments are met in line with the agreed project plan
  • Support T&C Amplified Program Lead on change management governance, co-ordination and support for T&C

What will you bring?

  • Business control and governance experience (ie First line of defence)

  • Ability to develop and communicate control objectives and procedure guides
  • You have a strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes
  • You can build, maintain, and influence relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in delivery of large and complex transformation / change programs
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstance.

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Exposure to and thorough understanding of “Identify, Assess and Manage” (I.AM) Framework
  • Proven ability to work in a team and proactively contribute ideas to continuously improve team performance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing useful and insightful risk reporting.
  • Demonstrated track record of working to deadlines and being efficient and organized in all operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
