Talent Specialist - Product & Tech

This role will incorporate a wide range of recruitment tasks including: taking a hiring brief, developing a sourcing plan, attracting and phone screening candidates, responding to candidate and hiring manager queries, scheduling interviews and reference checking. You'll take a proactive recruitment approach, establish long term relationships, and ensure the integrity of our recruitment and selection processes. You'll create #beautiful experiences for candidates and hiring managers.You will have a strong understanding of engineering, product, and design roles in a product-focused environment with the ability to assess candidate technical skills and experience.What you'll do...

• Plan and execute recruitment sourcing activity to ensure quality, diverse talent is sourced from active and passive candidate markets.
• Work closely with Engineering Leadership to build a world class recruitment process that is inclusive and provides the best possible candidate experience.
• Deliver efficient and effective hiring support that ensures #beautiful experiences for Xero leaders, colleagues and candidates.
• Maintain an up to date database of engaged candidates.
• Leverage the Xero employer brand to engage talent communities for immediate, and future hiring requirements.
• Engage in cross skilling, to assist with recruitment across portfolios (as required).

Experience you will bring with you...

• 5+ years of experience as a full-cycle in-house Technical Recruiter, preferably with a mix of recruiting for large and growth stage companies.
• Track record of effective and efficient sourcing, assessment and selection of quality, diverse talent.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage multiple hire sources to deliver outcomes.
• Uses data to adjust recruitment practices Track record of positive experiences with hiring leaders, colleagues and candidates.
• Relevant Bachelor Degree
