You will develop career education and career learning programs as required, source and provide high quality, accurate, unbiased, and current career pathway and labour market information and encourage individual pathway planning across Years 7 to 12.Our Career Practitioner should ensure the consistent delivery of our career planning resources from Year 7 – 12 and ensure every student benefits from Individual Pathway Planning. The ideal candidate should proactively seek out new and emerging opportunities for our students and work in collaboration with other staff at our College to ensure every student is on a path to a successful future.You will also be responsible for coordinating a range of incursions and excursions as part of the Year 9 Career Taster Program.Our schoolKatanning SHS is a unique and distinctive secondary school located in the heart of the Great Southern region of WA. Teachers and school administrators employed at Katanning SHS in 2024 are eligible to receive an of $7,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year.
