TAFE NSW is looking for qualified, experienced individuals who wish to be considered for a 12 month temporary full time teaching opportunity in Library Practice currently located at Strathfield Campus or location negotiable in TAFE NSW North Region.
About You
You will love this position if you like to share your passion in Library and Information Services and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are ready to educate a team of passionate students from a range of backgrounds to achieve their personal and work goals whilst developing and implementing an educational and career plan. You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams (or similar online collaboration tool) along with competent digital literacy to operate via connected learning platforms.
The successful candidate must have:
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in library and information studies and be eligible for admission to associate membership of the Australian Library & Information Association.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
