We are seeking a Reception Teacher to join our team. This is a fixed-term, contract commencing on 29 April 2024 and concluding on 13 December 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the individual needs and interests of Reception-aged children.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
- Establish strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and enriching curriculum that promotes holistic development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with Reception-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Knowledge of early years curriculum and best practices in early childhood education.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position
- Be registered to teach in South Australia and hold a current South Australian Teacher’s Registration Board Certificate
