Approval to teach special education and/or experience to teach students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mild to Moderate Intellectual disabilities and students with communication difficulties.
Ability to differentiate curriculum and implement Personalised Learning and Support Plans with a willingness to reflect on practice to adapt to the academic, social, emotional and sensory needs of the students.
- Developed communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, student support officers and teachers to foster collaborative skills, inclusive practices and integration opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, analyse and plan for behaviours that inclusively support the needs of diverse learners in line with the school's Positive Behaviour for Learning systems.
