What will you do?
As the RTO Team LeaderAdministration and Student Support, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and championing system and process improvements to enhance the overall student journey, ensuring a positive and supportive learning experience.
  • Collaborating with various teams to streamline processes and optimise the student lifecycle, utilising innovative solutions to drive efficiency.
  • Leading and contributing to projects aimed at improving administrative efficiency, system integrations, and overall RTO operations.
  • Coordinating cross-functional initiatives to achieve organisational goals, leveraging technology for the effectiveness of our services.
  • Overseeing debt management processes, ensuring adherence to established protocols while identifying opportunities for system-driven enhancements.
  • Implementing effective strategies for debt recovery and financial sustainability, leveraging automated tools and reporting systems.
  • Leading Administration Services for course and qualification setup within our student management system, exploring and implementing technological advancements.
  • Overseeing, tracking, and reporting on enrolments, attendance, statistics, and training data through data-driven insights and reporting systems.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Quality Management System practices and guidelines within the team, continuously identifying areas for process refinement.
  • Managing AVETMISS data submissions and addressing data error reports as a Team Leader, driving data integrity and process improvements.
  • Keeping the team informed and updated on the VET sector and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating on the issuance of client invoices and managing payment plans, exploring automated billing systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leading, supervising, and effectively coordinating the activities of the administration staff within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You've Accomplished:
We're seeking candidates who have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the dynamic RTO environment, showcasing a 2-year track record in leadership or team management.
  • Proficiency in building effective relationships with senior management, colleagues, and team members, coupled with a demonstrated ability to integrate technology solutions to streamline operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and robust analytical skills, leveraging technology tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management abilities, showcasing a proven track record in team coordination and successful project management.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer applications, including advanced proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft 365. Additionally, expertise in utilising spreadsheets and Student management systems, preferably aXcelerate.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including effective team communication and leadership. Proven experience in facilitating technology-driven communication channels.
  • A genuine passion for vocational learning and a dedicated commitment to supporting the team's success, with an interest in staying abreast of technological advancements in the education sector.
  • High integrity and self-motivation, backed by a track record of motivating and leading a team to achieve goals, employing technology-driven solutions where applicable.
  • Strong Administration and compliance capabilities, coupled with experience in team-based compliance and administrative tasks. Additionally, experience in implementing and adhering to technological solutions for enhanced compliance.
